Taiwanese artists LÜCY, The Chairs, deca joins, SiNNER MOON, 9m88, and Elephant Gym performed at the SXSW music festival in the United States, attracting enthusiastic crowds and receiving high praise from the festival's music director, who called it the most successful Taiwan Beats Showcase in the event's history.
To celebrate the success, a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the artists' journey and performance highlights was released. LÜCY made her first visit to the US for the festival and expressed her excitement about performing for a crowd of "weirdos" in Austin. The Chairs adjusted their setlist to include more English and Taiwanese songs to cater to the audience. deca joins, meanwhile, aimed to discover new music, film, and brand content at the festival.
SiNNER MOON compared the festival to a video game with each street offering a new experience. 9m88 performed songs from both their new and debut albums, while Elephant Gym invited two guest musicians from Kaohsiung to perform with them. The showcase drew a diverse crowd of music lovers and industry professionals, including Rolling Stone magazine.
