鄭各均 Ge-Chun Cheng

Ge-Chun Cheng has been a prominent figure in Taipei's experimental and avant-garde music scene for over two decades. A versatile artist, he excels as a guitarist, electronic instrumentalist, producer, and recording engineer. Throughout his career, Cheng has been involved in numerous collaborative projects and performed under various aliases. However, his most notable work stems from his solo endeavor known as Sonic Deadhorse, a controllerism and audio/visual project.

Distinguished as Taiwan's sole one-man project achieving such accomplishments, Cheng approaches his craft with a blend of experimental methodologies and the raw energy of improvisation. His music reflects a deep theoretical understanding while embracing the spontaneous creativity of improvisation.

Additionally, Cheng is a member of the art collective 三牲獻藝 sam-seng-hiàn-gē, alongside Blaire Ko (柯智豪) and Kai-Yu Huang (黃凱宇 fish.the). The group is dedicated to promoting a new form of electronic music that integrates Taiwanese traditional aesthetics into production.

In recent years, Cheng has expanded his repertoire to include sound engineering for his projects Non-Confined Spaces and the Lilium. His contributions to these endeavors have earned recognition from Taiwan's most prestigious music awards.
