May-09-2018

Dizparity makes atmospheric dance music inspired by U.K. bass music and live jazz music. While studying sound engineering and mixing/ mastering in London in 2015, his works thwarted the attention of Warp records’ producer and live musician for Imogen Heap, Mira Calix. They co-produced an abstract ambience single "Agola", included in the Roundhouse Rising Sounds 2016 compilation album. At the beginning of 2016, he signed with Taiwanese electronic music label, Dark Paradise Records, releasing his first EP Disparity. His single. ‘Wick’, was nominated by the Golden Indie Music Awards for best electronic single. Near the end of 2016, his second EP Faintish Cycle was released, featuring genres ranging from long-time influences drum & bass, deep house, synth-wave and elements of ambience music. Also included was the single "B.P.D.", a collaboration with Italian bassist, Davie504. In July 2017, Dizparity released his debut album entitled Night Phase, with sound designs evolving towards experimental and diverse synthesizer ambience textures. Night Phase consists of multiple rudimental genres of dance music, ranging from bpm 75 to 139. Besides, it also includes jazz electronica work "Mirage", and the modern dance inspired music video "Silhouette".
